Sentry is a remotely operated inspection, identification and surveillance system designed to provide both close and long range bi-directional audio and visual surveillance.
Sentry offers users a rapid response with a deployment time of less than 5 minutes providing operators with a low cost, versatile and highly mobile surveillance capability for use in counter terrorist, bomb incidents, vital asset protection, covert or overt route or track observation, hostage / siege situations or other roles where remote inspection / surveillance is required with high quality video and bidirectional audio. Sentry is fitted with a fixed (front) high resolution, autofocus camera and a top mounted high resolution, low light pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) camera giving all round observation capabilities. The operator is able to simultaneously monitor all camera output to ensure that all directions of interest are monitored.
Optional items include forward looking, high intensity white light illumination or infra red illumination, and a rear mounted operator controlled tow hook. Sentry’s small size and mobility allow it to move freely for up to 6 hours, up to 250 m from the operator's notebook based console. An optional tow hook & rear camera mount is available as an option. |
